WELCOME TO THE

ZANDSPRUIT ESTATE HOA

The Zandspruit Estate Home Owners Association is the governing body of Hoedspruit Extension 12, which comprises the Bush & Aero Estate, the commercial stands along the Zandspruit Boulevard to the East, and the commercial plots along the R527 towards the West. Not part of Extension 12, but part of the Zandspruit Estates are, amongst others, the Zandspruit Valley and the retirement village. The Zandspruit Estates together have a total area of some 1 000ha of which 350ha has been demarcated for residential development of South African bush homes.

Along the R527, there already is an Equestrian Centre a couple of restaurants, lodge accommodation, and there will be a Radisson Hotel and various other commercial undertakings. The balance of the Estate, comprising of some 600ha of land, is left as a Wilderness area where residents may enjoy game drives, horse rides, cycling, walking, jogging and sundowners. Within the residential area, there is a Bushcamp at the river, which can be booked by residents for accommodating visitors, or for having private events.

ABOUT THE ESTATE

There are 201 stands that make up the residential Bush & Aero Estate, of which 38 stands are specific Aero stands located along the 1 000m hard surfaced runway. These stands give you the option of building your own hanger next to your home, enabling you to arrive at your property in your own plane.

There are over 135 stand owners, and to date there are over 100 homes completed or under construction. About half of the owners are South Africans and the remainder are from 8 different nationalities, mainly Europeans.

The Estate has a large variety of wildlife but does not have the Big 5. Saying that, leopards have occasionally been spotted on the Estate.

BUILDING IN THE ESTATE

Zandspruit Bush & Aero Estate offers a variety of pre-designed homes for Members to choose from. These designs can be modified with the help of the Estate Architects, or own designs can be proposed for approval, as long as they are within the Architectural Rules and Guidelines. The pre-designed homes come in 3 styles (Thatch, Farmhouse and Pavilion) and a range of sizes. Unity of style of the houses adds to the enjoyment of this magnificent living environment.
